Seven SEC Employees "Disciplined" for Failing to Stop Madoff Fraud

Could this be perhaps because many SEC employees at the time were watching porn for 8+ hours a day? (See: SEC Employees Spent Hours Surfing Porn Sites) Hmmmmm....yet no firings. The Chairman of the SEC is sending a clear message that pornography is acceptable in a government workplace, and that it was acceptable that this behavior was allowed, ignoring reports on Madoff for years, while entertaining themselves with porn.  This story makes my blood boil every time I read how they were just slapped on the hand and paid salaries with taxpayer money to watch porn all while ignoring true fraud cases that could have been prevented and saves the retirements of many Americans. They could have been helping hundreds of Madoff victims and preventing this, if they had done their jobs and also listened to Harry Markopolos. Shame on the SEC! A prime example of how entities foster and allow an environment of complacency and allow internal unethical behavior.
